Stick to that, my friend. "Photoshop with Keygen" is a pirated, illegal copy.
….And one would be infinitely silly to pay another person anything for a software that could be illicitly downloaded for free anyway. Don’t give money to pirates.
I bought it direktly by adobe… so it couldnt be illegal… But my classmate sells it with keygen… I told him (some seconds ago) that that is illegal, but he tell me, that nobody is intrested in it, and no body but me will be so stupid and spend so much money for a program… Hmm, i think i will try stop him, before he will get problems, or is it too late???
If nobody would pay that much for it, it would not exist. Photoshop is used by professionals and pays for itself fairly quickly.
Your friend may not get in trouble for this, but he is headed down a stupid path.
And for the record, Free said the PS with Keygen was illegal, not the Student Edition you bought which is legal.
I’ve been offered free copies of Adobe software from friends and I turned them down every time.
Will your friend get in legal trouble with his keygenning ways? probably not. But he has already made an effort to make it a possibility. Legal trouble is probably not going to be what he’ll encounter. That will likely be from people he sold his keygen’ed copies to who will be more than a little upset when their software doesn’t work and no one’s willing to help them… or if/when Adobe or the cops come knocking on THEIR door.

Also, you will be able to upgrade your Student Edition in the future to a full, real solution. With the pirated illegal stuff you have to find another pirate to buy another illegal update. And dealing with Pirates will occasionally burn you. Different pirated versions in the past have not worked correctly.
Don, why are you testing pirate versions to know that past versions have not worked correctly? And why are you paying for these when they can be so easily obtained for free? 🙂

That’s actually a good question.
No guys, I have not used a pirate version of PS ever. However, I recall a few versions back when we got dozens of messages here on the forum about some glitch in the program that could always be traced back to a pirated copy. (I can’t even remember what the problem was.)
