I am receiving the following error when I try and open PhotoShop 7.0:

Unable to continue because of a hardware or system error. Sorry, but this error is unrecoverable.

Assuming that your hardware and software work well otherwise, I would recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the software again from the original Adobe CD. (If you don’t have Adobe CD’s, this is probably the source of your problem.)
