PC freezes when cut and dragging an image

Computer freezes when I cut part of an image with the "lasso tool" and then drag that part. I’ve checked CPU, RAM, HD, Video C., I’ve done Page Filing and nothing works. What could it be?!

You don’t say what version of Photoshop you are using. Refer to this Knowledgebase article. If it’s me, I’d try solution 3 in the article first.
