Google something like "distressed brushes" to find brushes.
I’ve gotten pretty good mileage out of scanning an awful photo and removing the photo content with a layer mask or the eraser tool to leave the cracks only.
You could always print a gray (128, 128, 128) file at a photo lab, destroy it in your driveway (always fun) and then scan or shoot it. Put through hard light or overlay blend modes the scan should sit on top of any file nicely. Or just use the photo you’re trying to "tire".
Using the hue/sat adjustment to desaturate and flatten the reds, while moving the white point towards yellow can achieve a faded look (see the curves below). Maybe someone can post some theory on that for, you know, your benefit.
