Photoshop was working yesterday, but now I’m getting this message: "Adobe Photoshop has stopped working.
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."

I have uninstalled/reinstalled Photoshop numberous times, tried to reset the preferences numberous times, and still get the same message.

DELL XPS 1530
Windows Vista Home Premium
3GB RAM
Adobe CS3 Design Premium

Thanks

when you say TRIED to reset the preferences, did you actually succeed in resetting them? there’s a faq on how to do it correctly. you either need to see a dialog box asking if you want to reset the photoshop settings or you need to manually delete the prefs file.

I see you’re using vista. if you’re sure you’ve reset the prefs (first thing to try): if you’re using aero, turn it off and try again. if you’re NOT using aero turn it ON and try again!
