I has just bought a Adobe plugins CD on ebay for Adobe photoshop, and many of the files can be opened in Photoshop. But… there are many files called… "Action files" Labeled as ATN Files, which adobe photoshop will not open, am I missing somthing? or is it another program that opens it?

I personally can’t handle the fact that information can be so close and yet so far! It’s driving me nuts! Having unaccessable files on my computer isn’t really good for my computer, my pocket book or my ego…LoL.

But seariously… What adobe program reads ATN files, if it isn’t Photoshop? and if photoshop does read it… why doen’t it recognize it?

My other problem is… I guess I just lost my last message in Cyber space!

Actions are recorded series of steps in Photoshop that expedite a certain editing goal. For example, creating a frame around an image or interpolating the image to a larger size by a series of resizings. To load your actions, just go to the Actions palette drop-down menu and select the option to open a new set of actions.

To expound on Daryl’s post, think of actions as a "process of recorded commands" to accomplish a task—this being said, to perform an action once loaded as per Daryl, you select the action you want to peform by clicking on it and then selecting the "play button" at the bottom of the action pallete menu.

The help section in the program or manual has a good step by step guide.

Thankyou!!!!! Daryl and Patty, Advice is verymuch appriciated! And as Patty mentioned about the Help section or "Manual" – I think I just found it! The bugger hid it on me! But I’ll read them more for now on… especially when I find them…LoL, with a hahaha!
