For me it was a glitzy waste of time–a production that seemed contrived and directed more toward investors than users.

From the announcement stream one would indeed get that impression.:-) From John Nack’s blog and the PhotoshopUser guys one gets an entirely different impression.

Actually you might get something from the Extended features this time around Dave. They are at least fun, rather than a useless appendage.

The more I read and watch the videos, the more I’m getting the opposite impression.

Did you check Adobe TV to see if it is there? That is where I would expect to find it. (It is an hour long, fyi.)
