I bought a full copy of Photoshop 7 some years ago and have bought all the upgrades right up to CS3.
Does that allow me now to purchase CS4 (when its released) as an upgrade to CS3 or do I have have to go back to buying a full copy of CS4?

Thanks.

Yes, all this information about eligibility is on the web site. (Just click on PRODUCTS and go from there.)

It was a simple question as Photoshop 7 has been removed from the upgrade list and as that was the main version I have upgraded from I thought I woul ask the question. Everything from after Version 7 was purchased as an upgrade – a simple question that could have been answered with a simple polite answer!
Still, looking at your previous forum post they all seen to be short and rude.

If you’ve bought all the upgrades to CS3, it’s as if you purchased a full version of CS3.

Why would going from CS3 to CS4 be any different to upgrading from CS2 to CS3?

Am I missing something in this question? 🙂

And his was a simple answer. You’re not upgrading 7. You’re upgrading the latest version you have whether that be a full version or upgrade itself.

‘You’re upgrading the latest version you have whether that be a full version or upgrade itself’.

Thanks you, thats was the simple answer I was looking for – you must not assume we are not all ‘no-it-alls’ and experts!!

If you still find my question a problem I would suggest jcates vaycates!

I was just trying to understand the question and asked politely for clarification (or so I thought).

Still, looking at your previous forum post they all seen to be short and rude.

Hmm, sorry you feel that way. Not my intention at all. Words without non-verbal nuance or accompanying body language can easily be misinterpreted on the internet.
I’ve just recently been very frustrated trying to interpret Adobe’s CS4 pricing.
