I bought an Epson R280 printer that can print directly on the DVD. But when I try to print from Photoshop, it always comes out off centre. I tried to print
using the software that came with the printer which worked perfectly. But I prefer to use Adobe (photoshop, encore, etc.). Has anyone else had similar problems or know of solutions?

I create my artwork in CS3, flatten the layers, select all, copy and paste it into Epson’s printing utility. Best of both worlds and only a few extra keystrokes.

You should be able to "calibrate" the printing by simply printing the layout on a Letter or A4 sheet, starting in the top-left corner. After a few tries, you will end up with usable offsets which you can then input in the print dialog. We did this for our Canon printer at one point. The Canon printers also feature a "preview before print" option, which will show you the page layout as it is actually sent to the printer from their label printing software, which gave us a good reference point to start from. It may be similar for Epson printers.

You’ld think with all the people that use PS, Epson would have a template or plug-in made.

I think I got it. It took a lot of trial and error, but I think I finally got a working template.
