If I don’t do any 3D work, but I make be making 360 panos is there any advantage to Photoshop CS4 Extendeed ?

I don’t think so. What is a pano? A panorama? If so, that is not the kind of thing the PS 3D works with.

In CS4 it does! It has the ability to do 360 degree spherical panoramas.

Yes, but does your stitched 360 degree spherical panorama have an output to Flash 10 ? WITHOUT having to buy a whole adobe suite or Flash CS4. In the Adobe movie they outputed to an Apple QTVR .mov file type. Why not to Adobe Flash 9 or 10 viewer ?

I am thinking about software like Pano2VR and FPP that can create .swf outputs with out having to buy Flash CS 4

Your comment prompted me to ask if you output your panorama as a flat image, or to QTVR .mov or to Flash .swf ?

Ah ok. Thank you for the reply.

The fellow in the Adobe Movie about 3d panoramas output his stitched image to Apple QTVR .mov and QTVR viewer. I plan to upgrade from Photoshop CS3 to Flash CS4 or CS4 extended… which ever will let me out put my fisheye lens image set to a .swf stand alone file.

Does CS4 or CS4 extended export a .swf that can be used with Adobe Flash viewer version 9 or maybe 10 ?

Supported file formats are JPEG, PNG and TIFF with 8, 16 or 32 bits per channel and QuickTime VR files encoded with JPEG. Pano2VR exports the panorama including all graphical elements as a single SWF file in the Flash 8 or Flash 9 format.

And since Flash viewer 10 has been released, Pano2VR now also exports to a Flash 10 format.

So does Photoshop CS 4 3D Spherical stitched image set using fisheye images (not extended version) also complete the cycle shoot, stitch web page display view in Adobe Flash Viewer 10 ? If not.. why not?
