How can you extract objects for the foreground?

I have a picture and something is in front of the picture and I want extract the object without destroying or damaging the picture.

What do you want … the foreground item, or the background? Your message is not completely clear.

If you want the background item,.you will have to erase the item, and then reconstruct what is behind it. There is no magic way to do this, and if too much is covered, it is pretty impossible, unless you are a good enough artist to recreate from scratch. (The clone tool is the best bet for recreating stuff, if you have a source to copy from.)

If you want the foreground item, just crop and erase the background.
