I’m working on a job and I’ve run into the problem where I’m trying to overwrite a file but in the save dialog the buttons have been taken away.

I’ve tried pressing escape and enter and it’s not doing anything.

The url below shows a picture of what came up, please somebody help me get out of this window…

That dialog is an OS thing so I don’t know if resetting PS preferences will help.

You could try disabling Version Cue in Preferences > File Handling.

Otherwise try resetting your preferences as described in the FAQ.

You either have to physically delete (or rename) the preference files or, if using the Alt, Ctrl, and Shift method, be sure that you get a confirmation dialog.

This resets all settings in Photoshop to factory defaults.
