I am trying to migrate from ME to XP (on a different machine). I know that preferences are kept in Windows/Application Data in ME, and I want to port my prefs over, but I don’t know where it is in XP. Thanks. /Jasper

Thanks BratMan. That worked perfectly.

May I ask another XP related question that has nothing to do with this newsgroup? It has to do with the Start Menu. In 98/ME, I could click the Advanced Tab and get an Explorer interface. From there I could make folders and group items. For example: all MS apps could be put into one folder. Yesterday, when I installed my Epson scanner, it made 4 or 5 different entries into the Program list. I just can’t find how to access the program list to make one general Epson folder into which I can drag all of the components. I click the Advanced Tab and find the other parts of the Start Menu, but I can’t find the program list. I must be missing something obvious, but missing it I am.

Thanks again. /Jasper

Or even simpler – right click on the Start button and choose ‘open all users’
