Please point me in the right direction. Multiple Photo Printing question

Hi all,

I’m sorry for asking this question in this group if it is not appropriate, but I was hoping that either someone might be kind enough to help or at least point me in the right direction of where I might find help.

I have Lightroom 2.0, Photoshop CS3, PhotImpact X3 and Nikon Capture NX2 running on a Vista system.

What I would like to do is select a number of photographs from my computer and print them all on one 8.5 x 11 piece of photo paper so that each photo is approximately 1.5" x 1" and I can fit a large number of photos on the sheet. Kind of like printing thumbnails. Can anyone offer some advise on how I can do this with the software that I currently have or suggest an inexpensive software alternative which can accomplish this?

I really appreciate any and all advice!

You can manually resize the images in CS3 (w/l/dpi) and copy/paste them on to a new document.
If all your images have the same dimensions to begin with then you can create an action to semi-automate the process.
At least this is how I have done similar things . . .

Hello all,

I took a number of images and converted them to B&W and resized them to 1.5" x 1". I then copied them and pasted them into a new document so that I ultimately ended up with a bunch of black and white thumnail type photos. I save the file as master.psd and now when I try to print them on an 8.5" x 11" photograph in Photoshop CS3, the print commands are grey out and it won’t let me. Can anyone please exlpain what I’m doing incorrectly? I am new to this program and I would really appreciate your expertise!
