Please forgive me if this doesn’t follow normal posting protocol. On Sept 12 I posted a topic entitled: "A plea for expert help willing to work thru a Gaussian Blur problem…"
"Photo Help" worked diligently to get me where I wanted to be as far as posting a "Before/After" picture of the effect I was trying to achieve. He also did a great job of trying to "step-by-step" the procedure for me, and I’m sure that more familiar users would have picked up on it right away.
I was unable to get the results based on the step-by-step. I don’t know if certain aspects were taken for granted that I would know what to do or what….but stupid me, I haven’t nailed it yet and I’m afraid the post is beginning to be buried and forgotten.
"Photo Help"….if you’re out there can you revisit the post and go over my replies? You achieved exactly what I am after with your "before/after" linked file. If I can get a grasp on the step-by-step, I know I can move on with my project with perfect results.
Anyone else who would be generous enough to contribute to the original post is most welcome also.
And again, forgive me if I have been too impatient or stepped beyond normal posting ettiquitte.
