ya, not as prevalent as cs or cs2 but i’ve had it happen a couple of times in cs3 too. like i said, restart seems to fix it for a while…

Most clipboard lockups happen with either copy&paste of different types of data from within PS (e.g. pixel data mixed with paths, patterns, brushes etc.) or by having multiple programs open at the same time and clogging the clipboard with incompatible data. As Dave said, restarting the program and/or restarting the computer usually fix the matter, even if it’s inconvenient.

Are you referring to the ‘PrtSc’ button? If so, in Vista, this has been disabled in favor of their nifty snipping tool.

The PrtScr button stills works okay in Vista. The snipping tool is good though…

Sometimes Photoshop messes with the Windows clipboard.

A variety of remedies had limited effect and I ended up getting a screen capture utility.

Vista doesn’t need "Print Screen" since it has the Snipping tool.

I’d recommend Print Screen Deluxe. The company has been around since the early 90’s. And it’s extremely easy to use. A no-brainer really.
