I have a folder with about 300 .psd files. I want to convert them to .jpg to put in a ProShow Gold slide show because of space. I created an action to save the file as a .jpg and then ran it via File > Automate > Batch. All the files converted – however the filename is now followed by the word copy. ie, 2008 Cruise Gaslamp 01.psd is now 2008 Cruise Gaslamp 01 copy.jpg
When running Batch, in the File Naming section, I put ‘Document Name’ in the first column. The second column is where I run into trouble. If I try to use None in the 2nd column [leave it blank] I get a pop up box saying I have to put an extension in that box. If I use the ‘extension’ selection the word copy is added to the filename. I’m going round in circles.
Can someone tell me how to save all these files as .jpgs with the same filename without having to do it individually? BTW, I have CS2 Windows
