Has anyone else noticed this?

I set my image to increase/decrease in size with mouse scroll. When I scroll, the image will overshoot slightly and float like a scrolling Flash animation. I thought "cooool". Then I noticed the same thing with the hand tool.

So, if I press the space bar for the hand tool and swipe the image and then let go, the image doesn’t stop immediately, it floats slighty in the direction I moved it and then slowly comes to a stop.

I don’t know why it’s cool, but it is. Very.

Yepp, the soft ease is very sexy, though not really of any practical relevance for getting work done. It would look even more impressive if the rotate canvas tool had it, too. 😉
