Hello photoshop experts,

Suppose you have 2D object on a layer and you wish to make it appear as if it were made of cristal clear material, how would you do that ?

Thank you in advance

I guess in three steps

1) making it transparent
2) adding shadows
3) adding highlights

The transparency part would be the tricky one because it all depends of the shape of the object
A round object (glass, bottle) will distort the image close to its (2d) edges.
I think Myjanee.com had a tutorial with raindrops, it could help you for starters.

Bonne chance!
