I am trying to adjust Adobe Gamma on a TFT flat screen but there is not enough adjustment on the Red, Green and Blue sliders to adjust it correctly. Has anyone any ideas as to the best war around this, except to use a normal CRT screen.

Adobe Gamma cannot create accurate profiles for TFT panels.

| Note: Flat panel display monitors (e.g., Apple Studio Display) do | not use brightness and contrast. Instead, they use white point and | black point levels to adjust the monitor’s characterization. | Because of this, load the ICC profile that comes with your flat | panel in Adobe Gamma without modifying the settings except the | Description. Make sure to save your profile with a filename that | matches the Description name.

If you want an accurate profile for your TFT monitor then you could by products like Monitor Spyder from Colorvision, Eye-One from GretagMacbeth or the SQUID from basICColor.
