CS4 won’t open Lightroom 2.1 files.

I just installed CS4 and when exporting an image to be edited in photoshop from Lightroom 2.1 Photoshop stays "thinking" but won’t open the file. I’ve been able to open a couple of images but I need it to work ALWAYS.

Any ideas?
