Tool Tips Do Not Display in Photoshop CS4

System is updated–using Windows XP Pro service pack 3, latest video driver, plenty of RAM. And in Preferences–Interface–Show Tool Tips is indeed selected. Whenever my pointer hovers over anything, no tips are displayed. Tool Tips worked fine in CS3. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I find they are a bit slow in appearing. Try waiting (and make sure focus is on the window).

Had the same problem and my tooltips came back when I turned of Camtasia 6. It might be another application interfering for you as well. It seems to be a bug somewhere…
