Hi guys,

Do you know which is the best filter or photoshop effect to creat this one color style image?

Look up Duotone in Photoshop Help. That should do it.

It all depends what version of PS you have.

Drop your grayscale image on top of a color layer and set your image to screen. Or drop the color layer on top and set it to color blend mode (this way your image can remain full color). Or use hue/sat adjustment layer with colorize button checked (image can remain color here as well).

Though it does appear that this image is really a two color style. You might need two layers with two hue-sats to dark and light blue, and then the top layer set to blend if with highlights chosen.

I have PS CS3. Does is have a special filter for this purpose?

Duotone sounds interesting but i read that i have to be very carefull in the printing process. Is that right?

I did try J Maloney tip and it worked quite well.

uzapuca, each filter can be run, then faded to a different blending mode, or opacity level… and they can be combined… trillions of possibilities!

inCS3 you can do it the same a s CS4

image > adjustments > black and white

after adjusting the image how you want it. check the tint button.
