I recently purchased a new laptop with 64-bit Vista w/ 4GB RAM. I have installed PSCS2 and Illustrator CS2. These have both been activated and resgistered, but every time I start the applications, I get the EULA screen in PS, which I have accepted 30 times already. In Illustrator, I am getting the Register screen – even though I have registered and even clicked the Do Not Register button.

I have run all updates. Does anyone know if this is a Windows issue or if it’s an Adobe issue? I know I am using older versions, but they work just fine for what I need them for, and I can’t see spending the $$ to upgrade.

Thanks in advance for any help or advice!

You need to run these once as administrator mode in order to update the registry. From an account that has administrator rights, right click on the icon or menu item you are using to start the application and select "run as administrator". Do the "do not register" etc. and exit. From then on, you can run as a normal application.
