I recently installed CS3 on my computer running XP and 50Gb of free space. The first day it worked fine, but since then when I try to open it I get the error saying the MSVC RT 10. DLL cannot be found, try reinstalling.
I reinstalled two times to no avail. Would anybody have any idea whats wrong.

Thanks for the answer, I installed it and had no time to install any plugins. I do have elements 5 that I have been using for the last two years(works fine). Also I forgot to say that Bridge I got with it works fine. Any more ideas are greatly appreciated.

I fixed the problem. You got me to thinking about plugins so I looked around in the program files to see if one might have gotten in by mistake from elements. I found where the dlls were and sure enough there was no number 10. I did a windows search on the Photoshop Dvd and found one. Then I copied and pasted it to the program files and it worked.

Thanks again
