I had Lightroom 2 installed on a Laptop I’m passing on to a colleague and so uninstalled Lightroom. He then decided it would be another few weeks before he wanted the laptop so in the meantime I reinstalled Lightroom for my own use but noticed that the reinstallation worked without me entering the serial number. I assume that the Lightroom serial must be stored in the registry (Vista) even after uninstallation.
I’m concerned that even when I uninstall Lightroom before I pass the laptop over my colleague will be able to install a copy of Lightroom without a license (or in effect use my license).
Basically what I want to know is how to remove the Lightroom 2 serial and all traces of it from the computer. I don’t want to reformat the HD and reinstall if possible.
Thanks in advance.
