If you are experiencing problems with Photoshop CS3 crashing when opening multiple files check to make sure your Ricoh printer is not selected as the default printer — or select the Adobe PDF printer. I discovered this fix after weeks of having problems with Photoshop crashing on two separate computer systems that had one thing in common — a Richo printer. As soon as I selected another printer as the default the problem resolved itself and has not occurred again.
