I’m not sure if it’s OK to ask this question here, but if it’s OK, I’m looking for a card to run my 3 new monitors. One monitor is 2560 x 1600, the others are 1600 x 1050. The monitors all have DVI (I guess DVI-D) inputs. I want a card that works with Windows XP pro and Vista.

Thanks for any info,
Andy

A tripple head video card is going to cost more than it is worth and you are going to have very few options. The simplest thing to do is use two identical dual head video cards. In my system I have two ATI Radeon 1650 Pro PCI Express cards handling right now two 22 inch and one 27 inch monitor. Works great. The nice thing about keeping the cards identical is that they can use the same driver and that makes things much easier and you will have few issues getting everything to work. Since I had a motherboard design with two PCI-E slots (for bridging them for games) it was even easier.

On the Mac side different cards did not play nice with CS4 OpenGL stuff.
