After loading the CS4 Extended version, the "Upgrade Check" defaults to CS3 Extended as my previous version. The problem is that I do not have and CS3 product installed on my system. I do, however, have CS2.

Of course, without the correct version for the upgrade checker to read, I am unable to get CS4 to accept and work beyond the 30 day trial period.

I could really use some help on this. How do I get the upgrade checker to recognize CS2?

I think you’re going to have to call customer service for an unlock code. pretty sure they have normal business hours friday the 26th…

I believe uou bought the wrong upgrade. The upgrade from CS3 extended to CS4 Extended is different than the from CS2.

It’s the same price but a different sku.

Bob – Thanks for your reply.

My intention was to upgrade from CS2 to CS4 Extended. My understanding from the upgrade qualification and guidelines at Adobe is that I can do so.

I guess I’m going to have to call Adobe to get clarification.

You can indeed do that, but you need to do it with correct sku.

Bob –

The problem was easily resolved with a call to Adobe. Apparently, the default problem was due to a previous beta install of the CS3 Extended Suite that I had not completely removed from my system. I was assured that the problem was not an SKU issue.

Thanks again for the input.
