Photoshop CS4 Seems to Oversaturate?

So, lets say I open the image in ACDsee 2.5 and in CorelDrawX4 Paint or Canon’s Zoom Browzer the image looks the same, but when I open the image in Photoshop it looks a little oversaturated. Certain colors look off and I don’t understand why.

Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

Photoshop is colour managed. You probably view the images in PS in a wide colour space like Prophoto RGB.

If it’s just a few images, then you might apply sRGB to them and then save the images.

Otherwise change your working space to Adobe RGB 1989.
