OK, this is the PhotoShop forum and in the Bridge forum is where this issue should be addressed, but there is little activity there, so I hope no one will mind me posting here…
The following problem occurred after adjusting the Preference settings in Bridge: When right clicking on any folder in either the Explorer or on the Desktop the following message is displayed "Windows Explorer has stopped working…"
This happened twice now, even after creating two new User Accounts. Is it possible that by adjusting the settings in Bridge it added a shell extension to Windows Explorer?
Has anyone here encountered a similar problem after adjusting the settings in Bridge? Cheers,
Michael

not sure it’s related

I had installed a program to make PSD thumbs show in Explorer seemed if I scrolled to quickly it would crash it as it was still caching I guess
I uninstalled it and now have no problems in explorer

have you installed the cheat for thumbs in windows (psicon.dll and aicon.dll)? or any thumbnail program that tries to make them for PSD formats?

now I can’t see thumbs in explorer and have to use Bridge
