many free templates are out there
and will give you files to mess with so you can learn how they are put together

now after re-reading the original question

do you need a layout for creating a BOOK? like a photo album if so all the photo services have them online (Snapfish) you upload the pictures to your choice and they send you a book (Not free you pay for prints and binding)(many software for album creation-also not free)

or a book about creating web site interfaces?
