hey, everytime i want to make a picture larger, it ends up coming out all blurry and the resolution is messed up. Is there any way i can make a smaller picture which i have taken offline bigger and have the resolution reformatted so that its not blurry. I have tried messing around with the pixels and all but im pretty lost. Thanks alot

Charles,

Functionally, the answer is no. If you make an image smaller, you are removing pixels, and damage to the image is less obvious because the image is physically smaller. But when you enlarge an image, you are trying to use "math magic" (an algorithm) to artifically insert pixels where Photoshop guesses they should be. Add to that, a larger image, and you end up with, well, funk.

There are techniques that one can use to help the image along, but most folks with experience would abandon the idea simply because you can’t really insert what isn’t there reliably.

Adobe made Image Ready to change the pictures for the Web in a way that they can be seen good on screen but can not be printed well and certainly not made bigger.

Buy the picture if you want it!
