Just installed dual monitors for Photoshop. When in Photoshop using dual monitors, when I click on the image to expand it goes to both monitors. Is there a setting where it only expands to the one (left) monitor?

Thanks,
Marion

Which Photoshop version? Have you streched the workspace across both monitors? If so, keep the workspace on one monitor and place your palletes/panels on the second monitor.

Version 7 and yes the workspace is on one side and all my pallets are on the other. I can grab a corner of the open picture and drag to the edges but when I click on the expand image on the top right corner of the open picture it expands to both desktops. Half on the left and half on the right monitors. In other words the open picture is in the middle of the work area.

I had horrible trouble with CS4 until I changed to a new video card (expensive but I was THAT DESPERATE): Nividia Quadro CX. Now PS work but my second monitor goes out periodically – with pink and blue lines at first – like interference patterns and next blinking on and off then black. At least a few times a day. Rebooting fixes it. Switched monitors and still occurs on the second monitor. They sent a replacement yesturday and again: same exact thing?? Any ideas. Thanks, Judith
