Using Win98SE and PS5.
This is what I do:
I copy/paste jpg images from the camera (Fuji S7000) to the computer then I want to open the images. When I got to File/Open I get the list of images in the folder. When I highlight an image I get only the file size but no thumbnail of the image.
This forces me to use another program to view thumbnails, write down the corresponding file name then go to PS5 and open the desired file. How can I get to view thumbnails in the Open dialog?

You could view the thumbnails in Irfanview and set it to open them in Photoshop. It’s in Properties.

If you can upgrade to V 7 or CS you can use the File Browser to view the jpeg thumbs. Not sure if they work on SE though. You can probably get the V7 upgrade cheap.

I believe that v7 will, but CS is XP/W2K only.
