I am trying to match some text that i copied as images from the web….

I have the font close although i cant seem to match it exactly. But the crispness from the copied image from the web i can not match. The copied image text is very crisp. I can not match it with Photoshop. Why would this be? It doesn’t matter what Alias setting i use and i tried a ton of fonts etc…

I don’t see where i can add an image to this post…

anyone have any ideas?

have always found that the aliasing in Photoshop can get you into problems.

You can store an image at some web location, and then link to it in a message with a html img tag.

Ahh i see. www.lucidimage.ca/customer/Text sample-01.jpg not sure that will be an actual link but someone can cut and paste.

So the top one is no alias and the middle is smooth which i thought was the closest and the bottom one is the original.

I think what it is.. is my graphics card or explorer is aliasing the text and it is very subtle and nice where as the Photoshop version is too strong…

Is there another way to alias text in Photoshop?

not meaning to be critical but
the logo of your site looks really bad (especially for someone selling graphics abilities)
you can see compression all round each letter
