Make "count" part of the image?

Hello, I would like to make what I see on the screen when using the "count" tool part of the .jpg I am working with (as in rasterized), how would I accomplish this?

screen cap then cut and paste? not sure what you mean by the "count" tool. what version of photoshop are you using and what are you trying to do? the more details you provide, the easier it is for someone to help you.

Sorry, more details: In CS4 Extended there is a Count tool, it’s behind the eyedroppper in the tools palette. It displays numbers on the image but they are not in a layer, not sure where they are, and they can not be flattened. Probably something simple but it escapes me…

thought it was something like that. have you tried taking a screen shot, then overlaying that on top of the image?
