I want to print my own calendar and add an image to the top. I want to find some kind of template for a 13 x 19 sheet of paper that has the month on the bottom and space for an image at the top. And it should be in a file type that Photoshop can use.

And one more thing, it needs to be free :-), I seem to able to find templates that I have to pay for.

Thanks for the help,
Andy

You could get a free template from an office program and add your images.

There is nothing to be gained from doing the whole thing in PS.

There is something to be gained in doing the whole thing in Photoshop – satisfaction – all your own work!

all your own work!

It won’t be. He wants a template to pop in a picture!

Okay I only read the first sentence.
Andrew, make your own template in Photoshop, add your photo & dates then it will be all your own work.

If you want the calendar month, here is a script to do it…. <http://www.ps-scripts.com/bb/viewtopic.php?t=2178> All it does is create a text box with the chosen month/year so you can then resize/change fonts to suit.

If you must be free and all you have right now is Photoshop, use a template with Scribus.

Scribus <http://www.scribus.net/>

Photoshop is not ideal for multiple page layout.

He probably doesn’t have InDesign.

Scribus looks interesting. Note that the program is free but you have to pay for the manual.

Andrew, here is one I did in Photoshop.
Use guide lines to make your template then fit the photos & dates for each month.

You have to pay for that manual, just like you might pay for a printed Adobe manual. Online docs are always free.
