When I have been working on a document for a few minutes, Photoshop suddenly disable the OpenGL features such as Rotate View Tools. OpenGL does still seem to be enabled in Edit>Preferences>Performance…
I think the disabling happens when I use the Brush Tool.

If I save, closes and re-opens the document, the features are back. (I just created an action for this)

My video card is a NVIDIA GeForce 6700 XL with updated drivers.

Hi Kasper,

You say you have updated nVidia drivers, but have you installed the Beta driver (dated 2/12/08) which is available now? This solved the problem for me.

Hello Roger,

I just installed what came up as the latest driver (Release date: January 8, 2009). I couldn’t find that 2/12/08 beta driver you talked about.
