Save dialog customized folders

Hi!

Is there any possibility to work with the vista 64 save-dialog in photoshop? My problem is: I often have to click through a lot of folders to get to the one I need and there’s no chance to put individual folders at the save-dialog on the left side (as i.e. "computer", "desktop", "last viewed" etc.). The windows-explorer got this feature – there you can drag individual folders to the dialog-window as a shortcut.

Would save me a lot of time. Any chance to get it in the CS4-Suite too?

The writer says this works in Vista Ultimate.

Never tried it because I found different ways.

Hi John,

this works for 4 folders, that’s something! Thanks a lot! I’d like to know about your "different ways" 🙂 Perhaps also an alternative for me? I got a lot of different job-folders an often have to switch between them, have lots of different jobs open in PS and Illu. So there’s always the "click-through-hell-monster-marathon" navigation when I’m saving and opening files 😉

To top it all, the save-dialog always saves files with the last saved item (i.e. if you last saved "file1.psd", open a file named "file2.psd" and save it, PS names it "file1.psd" also – I really’d appreciate an option, where you could configure "save file with current filename") – it often drives me mad. Whether I like the option that PS is remembering the last used folder, I don’t know. Sometimes fine, sometimes it sucks. An option would be great.

Just put shortcuts in your "my documents" folder.
