I tried the much mentioned and acclaimed favicon plugin for Photoshop from www.telegraphics.com.au. It did not work.

I am on Vista (Win 64-bits) so I tried the Vista work around. Still no joy.

Anybody any idea of how to get a good favicon from an image using Photoshop CS4?

Thanks.

Hi Adriana,

The plug-in will only work in the 32 bit version of Ps. On your system look for Program Files (x86)> Adobe> Photoshop CS4> Plug-Ins and copy it there.

Thanks, Bob. The issue was solved: the plugin does show up in CS4 32-bit.

Indeed, it does show up in the 32-bit version! Probably has been there all the time I was tearing my hair out uninstalling and reinstalling… Thanks a lot, Steve.
