N-Up is not displaying icon options in Windows Vista x86

I have both versions of Photoshop CS4, X86 and 64 bit loaded and running on Vista 64 OS. When I run Photoshop in 64 bit mode, the icons appear as normal. However, when I run X86 mode, the icons are not visible. I can click on the option where it should be and it works, but they are not visible. I searched the forum for this and did not get any hits based on my search string. Any assistance on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.
