PS CS3

I am trying to crop a JPG slightly to get a specific size. I have set the size in the toolbar of the crop tool and draw the crop mask, but when I try to complete the crop it says "Cannot complete your request because the scratch disks are full". I have two disks on this machine, one with 26GB free and the other with 77GB free and this is only a 250x970px image. I did several prior crops on the same image among other operations, but wanted to use the exact size on this one since it needs to fit in a rotating banner for a website. I can crop it if I leave out the exact size, but then, of course, I am only guessing at the size.

What’s up and is there a workaround?

Check that your width and height sizes are in px and not ins. Also you do not need a figure in the resolution box.

That did it … I saw pixels per inch next to resolution and figured that I was typing in pixels, but closer inspection revealed in … so I guess 970 in x 238 in was a bit big for it!
