photoshop 7.0 and editing Raw images

I’m new to dslr’s and would like to snap raw images. I have ps 7.0 and have never used the open as nor do I know if this application will edit and work with Raw images. if anyone can help me I sure would appreciate it.

camera raw was a paid for plugin for ps 7. you need to upgrade if you want to do raw in photoshop and you don’t have the plugin.

too bad you missed the upgrade window.

Also that old RAW plugin would not be any good for the newer cameras anyway.

You’re not eligible for an upgrade…you have to buy a new license.

You can also check out www.officedepot.com as they still sell CS3 upgrade for 198 bucks. It is a legal copy too. They no longer sell it in their stores so you have to buy it on line. Then if you want buy CS4 upgrade later on. Save you 299 bucks total.
