Not sure why this is happening…but…
I’m creating a web page in Dreamweaver. I grab the photo I want to use for a header; & open it in Photoshop (CS3). I resize the photo to 7" wide…@ 72ppi, which will be the perfect width for the design I have in mind. I configure the resized photo into Dreamweaver; & it looks small…about 5-1/2" in width. I think…OK…maybe it’s something to do w/ Dreamweaver’s default resolution…so I preview the page in Internet Explorer…knowing the default browser resolution is 72ppi.
It’s still 5-1/2" wide in IE.
Photoshop is telling me it’s 7" wide, but it’s 5-1/2" wide everywhere else.
what gives ???
Thanks much,
Mark Forman
BTW – Could this be a monitor screen resolution problem…??? That is set to 1680 X 1050.
