I was working on a few images (4 x 6mp jpeg and some much smaller), nothing major, then switched to the next image and saw this…

I’m guessing it’s a graphics driver problem, but I tried with a clean install of the latest Nvidia drivers but still it happened. Also tried the last 2 versions.
laptop setup:
Vista Home Prem, Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T7250 @ 2.00GHz, 4gb RAM, Geforce 8600m gt
This is the trial of CS4 (I bought it and sent it back, but got new laptop and thought I’d try it out – initially it ran better than on my desktop with 8gb, quad core, ATI Fire GL 7700 512 MB) but now this.
I’m so unimpressed by the display bugs and performance (love the new features, esp the easy layer adjustmenst!). I know a lot of people are happy with it but I’m not spending £5k on a new machine and then finding out CS4 runs like mollasses.
