Yup that’s right. All you Nvidia card owners may have a few fixes. Read the release notes on the fixes for PS CS4. Least it is printed that some of the problems have been addressed and fixed.

Thanks David.

I looked at the release notes, seems like a small handful – one for the 9800 card, one for the 200 series and one for the 9800 using multiple monitors…unless I’m missing something…navigating those release notes is a pita.

I was going to comment but i realized that neither of the fixes addressed my card. 🙂 still nice to see them actually acknowledge something.

I still think it’s worth people with OpenGL problems, that aren’t fixed by driver updates, rolling back drivers or trying the generic OS driver.

It helped a couple of posters.

maybe they want us to get a 9xxx or 200 series card…..they might see lower specs unworthy candidates.

I read some news today about ATI where the last update for their older cards, as listed in the report, will be ended with the 9.4 driver set. This way they can work on drivers for recent and future cards. Maybe Nvidia thinks the same.

Nvidia 8XXX card with 1 month old drivers and the CS-4 update is a huge improvement. Brush lag is either dead or down to not noticeable.

XP-Home current (last) service pack.

Thank you Adobe!!

Dennis,

I just took a guess on your operating system to bring this page up. There are 3 tabs. Release highlights is what you want to read. The other 2 tabs have some info of course. To get your operating system drivers just click on "download drivers" and fill it in with your info.

Users experiencing issues should update to the latest driver. The release notes generally will indicate a fix for particular cards if those cards were originally specified when the issue was reported. Because the driver is unified for the entire range of cards, if you are having a similar issue, chances are that it will fix your issue even if your card isn’t specifically mentioned.
