I am getting a bit annoyed at the Layers Panel or perhaps it’s just the lousy interface in general as people seem to be ranting about. This might happen with you other folks. So, try the following:

1. In the CS4 menu, choose Window > Workspace > Web. The workspace will change accordingly. Take note that the Layer Panel is open and visible on the right pane.

2. Minimize and then Maximize CS4.

Did your Layers Panel collapse to the very bottom? If so, try the following…

3. Uncollapsing the Layers Panel so it is visible again.

4. Minimize and then Maximize CS4 again.

Did the Layers Panel collapse again? Did for me and everytime I tried it.

Pretty annoying I must admit.

I’ve just tried that a few times but my layers panel did not collapse. Geoff.

That is strange. I wonder if it has something to do with it being the 64-bit Photoshop or maybe Windows Vista 64-bit. Any of you using 64-bit?
