Extensions… in Photoshop CS4

Hi all

I am new to working in Photoshop CS4 Extensions … and im planning to create my open Extension panel like (Kuler and Connections)

And i want to open one document by my Extension Panel … is there any option to communicate our code to Photoshop code…

If anyone knows that .. Please share with me….
