Hello,

Is it true that Photoshop 6.x and 7.x has a pixel limitation around 30.000 pixels which is depending on the application itself and not depending on the Windows operating system? In Illustrator for example you will not have this limitation as you can tile the images.
Does someone know, where it will be possible to find such a spec topic for different Adobe applications.

Thank you Manuela

Absolutely. And a 2 gig filesize limit.

Illustrator doesn’t work in Pixels – it is a vector application. The only time you would run into this in Illustrator is if you attempted to rasterize artwork to that sort of resolution, such as Saving as PSD at high resolution with large artwork, at which time you will get the message "Photoshop File could not be saved"
